An Eagles Game at 9:30 in the Morning?
That's what makes this game different.
Most Eagles Sundays start in the afternoon or evening. On October 11, Philadelphia will wake up to Eagles football.
While the team takes the field more than 3,500 miles away in London, fans back home will be looking for somewhere open early enough to watch the entire game.
Lion Sports Bar regularly opens early for major sporting events, including international soccer and Formula 1, so an early start is nothing unusual here.
For this Sunday, the morning belongs to the Birds.

Philadelphia vs London: One Eagles Game, Two Very Different Sundays
When the ball is kicked off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it will already be 2:30 in the afternoon in London.
Back home, Philadelphia will barely be through breakfast.
That's part of what makes NFL international games unusual. Thousands of Eagles fans will travel across the Atlantic, while many more will watch from Philadelphia at a time when NFL games almost never begin.
Instead of trying to recreate a normal Sunday afternoon, embrace the early start and turn it into an Eagles morning in Center City.
A Philadelphia Sports Bar Built for International Game Times
Lion Sports Bar isn't normally waiting until noon for sports to begin.
Its international soccer following means the bar regularly hosts fans for games taking place several time zones ahead of Philadelphia.
Lion has 35 TVs, sound-on viewing for major games and is located at 1021 Arch Street in Center City Philadelphia.
Lion was also ranked the #1 Sports Bar in Philadelphia by The Infatuation in May 2025.
