Our panel of “expert” judges will score you on a scale of 1 to 10 in three core categories:
| Category | What the Judges Are Looking For |
| The Look | Visual accuracy: The mustache, the tracksuit/sweater, the aviators, and the whistle, really any detail that makes you look like Ted Lasso |
| The Vibe | The performance: The bouncy walk, the folksy charm, and that Kansas accent. We’re looking for you to really take on the persona. |
| Wit & Charm | How well you can win over our judges and handle a “press conference” by answering questions on the fly. |
Contest format
The Group Stage: All contestants take the stage. Show off your best Ted Lasso one-liner as the judges whittle the field down to the Top 20.
Free Style: The Top 20 get 30 seconds to perform as Ted Lasso any way they’d like to advance to the Final 5.
The Press Conference: The Final 5 sit in the hot seat for a Q&A with “reporters” to test their improv skills and character commitment
